In most cases, yes — most our crew and performers are engaged as contractors, so you’ll need to be set up with:An ABN (Australian Business Number) orA registered setup for tax purposes (i.e. invoicing, business structure)
We feel you – you brought the vibes, worked your magic, and now you’re wondering when that sweet payday hits.
Here’s the deal: with the sheer number of legends helping us run a single event (we’re talking 20 to 40+ humans across safety crew, door crew, DJs, dancers, media, performers, and more), payments are processed after the event you worked at.
Most of the time, you’ll see that glorious deposit land in your account within the week following the event. Occasionally, due to delays or the usual chaos gremlins (e.g. missing info, inbox black holes), payment may roll over to just before the next event.
🔒 Our golden rule: No payment will ever be left hanging beyond the next event after the one you worked. Even if your invoice has a later due date, you’ll be sorted by then.
